Can we have our wedding ceremony here?
Yes, although most choose and outdoor setting at either Flagstaff Hill or on Wollongong City Beach (council fee applies). In situations of wet weather, wedding ceremonies will move into City Beach Function Centre.
Can we have our wedding reception here?
You certainly may! City Beach Events has a range of reception packages for you to choose from. There are two reception spaces available for hire depending on your guest numbers – Ocean Room and Pearl Room.
What is usually included with reception hire at City Beach Function Centre?
On top of a 5-hour room hire, reception hire includes a 3-course meal, an elevated bridal table, in-house sound system, table centrepieces, MC, chairs, 5-hour beverage package (unlimited sparkling wine, bottled beers and cider, bottled red and white wines, soft drinks and juices), and DJ.
Is there a minimum spend?
Yes. Reception packages are based on a minimum number of guests. Contact venue for full details.
May we bring our own alcohol?
